Refund policy

At Mani’s Studio – Designer Indian Boutique, every piece is carefully packed with love and quality checks. We want you to feel confident and excited when you receive your order. While we do not offer refunds for change of mind, we are committed to resolving any genuine issues in line with Australian Consumer Law.


🔁 Do You Accept Returns or Exchanges?

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges in the following cases:

  • You change your mind
  • You ordered the wrong size or style
  • You found a similar product elsewhere at a lower price
  • The item looks slightly different due to screen variations or lighting

If you're unsure about sizing, please contact us before purchasing — we’re happy to help you choose the right fit.

Exchanges may be offered for eligible items and are subject to stock availability. If your requested item is unavailable, you will receive a store credit valid for 6 months.

 

 

🚫 Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

To maintain hygiene and product quality, we do not accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Jewellery and accessories
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Custom-stitched or altered garments
  • Used, worn, or damaged items after delivery

 

📦 Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, missing, or incorrect item, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery by contacting us via WhatsApp or email with:

  1. A clear, uncut parcel opening video
  2. Your name and order number
  3. A brief description of the issue

Once reviewed, we will arrange an appropriate solution — either a repair, replacement, or store credit as per your situation.

 

🎥 Parcel Opening Video Policy

To process complaints, we require a continuous, unedited video of the parcel being opened.
The video must show:

  • Your name/address label on the sealed package
  • All four sides of the unopened parcel
  • The full unboxing process
  • Any issue clearly shown within the same video

❗ Claims without valid, uncut video proof will not be accepted.

 

🛡️ Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

We respect and comply with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if the product:

  • Has a major fault
  • Is not as described
  • Is not of acceptable quality

For minor issues, we will offer repair or replacement within a reasonable timeframe.

If anything in this policy conflicts with the ACL, the Consumer Law will apply.

 

🚚 Return Shipping Responsibilities

  • If the issue is from our end (e.g. damaged or incorrect item), we cover return shipping
  • If you’re returning due to sizing or personal reasons, you are responsible for the return postage
  • If a return is approved, we may request that items be sent in original packaging (where possible)

 

💳 Refunds & Store Credit

  • Refunds are only issued when required by Australian Consumer Law
  • In all other approved cases, we offer store credit valid for 6 months
  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days
